Diakonie Training Center continues to serve as a hub for practical, hands-on vocational training, empowering people of all backgrounds to build a better future. Through its well-established courses in water installation, heating systems, electrical instalaltion, tailoring, hairdressing, and make-up, the center is creating real pathways into employment and self-reliance.
These 3 to 5-month programs have become a vital resource for the local community. They are open to participants of all ages, but the center places a strong focus on encouraging young women and men to take part — helping them access skills that make it easier to enter the labor market or even start their own businesses.
Over the years, hundreds of young people — especially those from marginalized communities — have completed these programs and gone on to find work in the private sector or start their own small businesses.
Supported by dedicated donor as Bread for the World BFDW, and partners, Diakonie’s vocational training programs remain a shining example of education with purpose — transforming lives through skill, commitment, and opportunity.
