On November 28th, on the very day of Albania’s Flag Day, the Executive director of Diakonie Kosova, Mr. Bernd Baumgarten, revived the beautiful tradition of the modern Oda, bringing together all staff members in a warm and culturally rich gathering.
During the solemn opening, he honored us with his continuous dedication and respect, while also offering traditional dishes prepared by our kitchen: fli, mantia, leqenik, turshi, raki and tea.
This Oda will continue to serve as the best representation of our culture for all donors, visitors, and friends who come to witness our work and commitment to the well-being of the community.
We are deeply grateful for his work, dedication, and appreciation, as well as for embracing our traditions with such kindness and respect.
This day will remain a special memory for all of us.
