“Diakonie Kosova” had the pleasure of welcoming the Minister of Justice, Ms. Donika Gërvalla, during her visit to our center in Fushë Kosovë.
We thank Minister Gërvalla for her visit, appreciation, and support for our long-standing work in empowering and promoting the social inclusion of women, girls, and families in need.
For more than 25 years, “Diakonie Kosova”, with the support of our partners from Germany and local collaborators, has been dedicated to creating real opportunities for people through vocational training, psychosocial support, and continuous care for the community.
During the visit, Minister Gërvalla had the opportunity to closely learn about the work and dedication of our staff, as well as the inspiring stories of women and girls who, through our programs in tailoring, cooking, and hairdressing, are building a safer and more independent future.
We especially appreciate the Minister’s message that social inclusion is not only a political choice, but a state and societal responsibility. We believe that only through cooperation between institutions, organizations, and the community can equal opportunities and a more dignified life for all be achieved.
