We were honored to welcome Mr. Thomas Schulte-Borghoff, Director of the NATO Advisory and Liaison Team (NALT) together with his support staff to Diakonie Kosova in Mitrovica.
During the visit, Mr. Schulte-Borghoff had the opportunity to closely explore our work and impact across several key programs.
The visit included our vocational training center, where young people and adults are empowered with practical skills for employment and independence.
He also visited our psychosocial center for trauma therapy which provides essential services for community well-being and mental health.
In addition, the visit continued at our kindergarten, where we develop early childhood in a safe and supportive environment, and at our farm, where sustainable agriculture and local production like goat cheese, fresh eggs contribute to both livelihoods and community resilience.
We are grateful for this meaningful visit and the opportunity to share our mission and ongoing efforts in strengthening communities in Mitrovica.
