The Diakonie Training Center (DTC), is providing high-quality vocational education since 2000. Our mission is to equip young people and adults with practical skills that lead directly to employment, self-employment, and a better future. Over the past 25 years, thousands of graduates have successfully entered the labor market in Kosovo and abroad.
Our training programs are designed to meet the needs of today’s labor market by combining classroom instruction with extensive hands-on practical experience. Participants learn from qualified instructors in well-equipped workshops and gain the confidence needed to work professionally in their chosen trade.
Most of the vocational training programs offered by the Diakonie Training Center are accredited by the National Qualifications Authority (NQA) of Kosovo, ensuring that the curricula meet national quality standards and that graduates receive nationally recognized qualifications. This accreditation enhances participants’ employment opportunities and provides employers with confidence in the competencies of our graduates.

Duration of the Training
Most vocational training programs last 3 to 5 months, depending on the profession and curriculum. During this period, participants receive intensive theoretical instruction and practical training, enabling them to develop the competencies required by employers. Some shorter specialized courses, such as Nail Design, can be completed in approximately 6 weeks.
Learning by Doing
Our training follows a 70% practical and 30% theoretical learning model. The emphasis is on practical experience, allowing participants to develop their skills in real workshop environments using professional tools and equipment. The theoretical component provides the essential knowledge of occupational safety, technical principles, materials, and industry standards, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for the workplace.
