During July 2025 – Diakonie Kosova began a new project supported by the German Embassy called “Strengthening Community Resilience through Psychosocial Support in Kosovo.” The project aims to improve the emotional well-being and psychosocial resilience of vulnerable children, youth, and adults across Kosovo.
Activities will include free trauma therapy, community-based programs, literacy courses, and youth resilience initiatives. These efforts are designed not only for their therapeutic value but also to reduce stigma, promote inclusion, and create safe spaces for healing. The project will work with individuals from various backgrounds, including Roma, Ashkali, Egyptian, Bosnian, and Serbian communities.
